This is a sample email demonstrating the nature of correspondence with a supervisor in an agency setting during the early development stage of the design process. During the initial stages of the design process, it is vital to develop an appropriately detailed design brief. In this message to my supervisor, I attach the brief document, which has been developed using a collaborative tool called Milanote. You can read the brief by viewing the second page of the file below.
The sample email notes that the creative team would be copied to the message. However, I’m not sure that this would be necessary. Perhaps, it should be a private correspondence between myself and the director, or, maybe only my partner, Designer B, would be an appropriate team member to copy. What are your thoughts?
Thanks for reading!
